Day 1

SRINAGAR  ARRIVAL

Our services will start with your arrival at Srinagar airport. Meet greet and transfer to scheduled hotel. Welcome drink on arrival. Check-in to scheduled hotel and rooms will be allotted. Relax and refresh yourself and evening enjoy the shikara ride in dal lake.

Day 2

SRINAGAR DOODPATHRI -SRINAGAR

The name Doodpathri means Valley of Milk. It is said that the famous saint of Kashmir Sheikh ul Aalam Sheikh Noor din Noorani has prayed here and once when he was in search of water in the meadows, to offer prayers, he pricked the ground with his stick to search for water and milk came out. He asked the milk that you can only be used for drinking and not performing ablution. Hearing this milk at once changed its state to water and the meadow got its name Doodpathri .The water which is at present flowing through the meadows has a milky appearance from the distance and remains very cold throughout the year .The lush green grasses over the vast meadows and silver shining streams running over the large stones further increase its beauty. Doodhpathri is sloping grassy landscapes with a diversity of multicolored flowers up to Chang. The famous Tosamaidan lies in the west of Doodpathri. Doodhpathri lies in a bowl shaped valley in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas, at an altitude of 2,730 m (8,957 ft) above sea level. It is an alpine valley covered with snow clad mountains and the meadows of Pine Fir and Deodar. The natural meadows, which are covered with snow in winter, allow the growth of wild flowers such as daisies, forget-me-nots and butter cups during spring and summer.

Day 3

SRINAGAR - SONMARG

Morning after breakfast by 09 am in the morning get ready for the full day excursion of Sonmarg which is one of the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. We will take about 3 hours to reach Sonmarg. Sonmarg is absolutely true to its name, which means Meadow of Gold. The moment you enter Sonmarg, the first thing that you will notice will be the snow-covered mountain that forms the backdrop of the town. Covered with alpine trees from all sides, Sonmarg has few of the loveliest flower collection in Jammu and Kashmir. You may take a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. Evening return to Srinagar.

Day 4

SRINAGAR-GULMARG-SRINAGAR

After breakfast at the hotel, leave for a day excursion to Gulmarg. The drive past colorful villages and rice fields gives you an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir. Gulmarg is one of the most beautiful hill stations in the world and also called Meadows of Flowers.It has the world’s highest golf course (world’s highest), and Gulmarg is also famous for winter sports like skiing etc. But the most popular thing to include in the tour package in Kashmir is the Gondola Cable Car Ride to Khilanmarg. The 08 minutes of ropeway will take you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Apparat peak. From here, you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley .Evening back to srinagar.

Day 5

SRINAGAR

The 4TH day of the Kashmir family holiday package begins with a delicious breakfast in the hotel.  Check-out and proceed for a road trip to Pahalgam (valley of shepherds’)’.Via Pampore which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. En route, you can stop by the Martand Sun Temple. We switch from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag.From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel on the Lidder river flowing from the opposite direction. There are many beautiful places to see and interesting things to do in Pahalgam. You can choose from any of the below given optional activities and have an amazing day with your family. If you are in Pahalgam and have not visited the Baisaran valley and famously called as Mini Switzerland, then you have seen nothing. A word of caution though, you will have to use ponies to ride to Baisaran valley as no vehicle is allowed to go there.

Day 6

FULL DAY PAHALGAM-SRINAGAR

A warm cup of tea with delicious breakfast should get you ready for the day of activity. You should not miss the Aru Valley, Chandanwari valley and Betab valley. They are all famous for being the site for Bollywood movies. If you have a taste for adventure rides then a visit to Pahalgam club, Children’ Park and Zoo is a must. In evening return back to Srinagar, Check in the hotel and relax yourself with delicious dinner.

Day 7

PAHALGAM - SRINAGAR  LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

Morning after breakfast get ready for the full day excursion of Srinagar. Visit the famous gardens like, Mughal Garden, Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal King Asif Khan. Nishat Bagh is a terraced Mughal garden built on the eastern side of the Dal Lake. It is the second largest Mughal garden in the Kashmir Valley. The largest in size is the Shalimar Bagh, which is also located on the bank of the Dal Lake. ‘NishatBagh’ is Urdu, which means Garden of Joy, Garden of Gladness and Garden of Delight. Then visit to Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of love’ built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal King Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jahan or (Mehr-un-Nissa). The garden is considered the high point of Mughal horticulture. It is now a public park, Shankaracharya temple, Darghasheeraf. Shikara in dal lake.1 HOUR HALT FOR EACH PLACE.

Day 8

SRINAGAR AIRPORT DROP

After breakfast, free time till departure. Transfer to Srinagar airport for your onward destination with the happy memories of your tour and our services.

Cancellation Policy

ü  For cancellations done prior to 45 days of departure, No cancellation fees would apply.

ü  For cancellations done between 31 to 44 days of departure, 25% cancellation fees would apply.

ü  For cancellations done between 21 to 30 days of departure, 50% cancellation fees would apply.

ü  For cancellations done between 11 to 20 days of departure, 75% cancellation fees would apply.

ü  For cancellations done within 10 days of departure, 100% cancellation fees would apply. No refunds would be made.

Travel Tips

1) Weather Conditions:

ü Pack your clothing depending on your location and the month of travel. For summers, full sleeves t-shirts to sweatshirts should be carried but for winters, heavy woolen clothing is recommended. 

ü Temperature in hills may change any moment, therefore, apart from the regular clothes you carry, a windcheater is a must.

ü If you wish to visit areas with heavy snowfall, you may rent gum boots from road side vendors available on your way. 

2) Id proofs

ü Government issued identity proofs need to be shown at the hotel or resort before check-in. Always keep the Id proof with yourself while travelling. Keep a digital copy of your documents in your mobile devices in case of loss or emergency. (Pan card won’t be acceptable) 

3) Safety Tips

ü Maintain distance with tourist guides, bus conductors, taxi drivers and local guides if you find them pressuring you to take their assistance. Don’t be rude, but decline their offers politely, 

ü Do not go out alone during late evenings and night. Always move in groups. 

ü Make a note of emergency numbers and details of the hotel where you are put in.

ü Avoid taking eatables offered by the local people in buses, taxis etc. 

ü Make sure all your expensive stuffs are kept in safety lockers of your hotel room. Carry just enough money. During your travel, keep your cameras and other devices safely in a bad and check regularly. 

ü Maintain a separate pouch to keep liquid cash handy. In case you are carrying more money or withdrew it from ATM, do not expose it in the public place 

ü Do not trust strangers. 

ü Always ask for authorized tourist guides who have a badge provided by the Indian Government.
